Memorandum To: CHM 1045 Recitation Instructors Dillhyon, Martin, Callihan, Guile From: Robley Light Date: April 8, 1996 Re: Recitation 13, week of April 8 Return quizzes and go over them. The new material from Chapter 10 include effusion and deviation from ideal behavior. There won't be any problems to solve using van der Waals equation, but they should understand what assumptions the equation corrects, and the significance of the constants a and b in the equation. I started Chapter 11 today, but since that won't be on the test, you may want to just spend time on test review, and go over Chapter 11 next week. Exam 3 covers from section 8.4 through chapter 10. Thanks for getting the review sessions scheduled. Can you also plan to do one next week for the exam? Alternatively, since the exam is on a Wednesday, maybe its better to schedule at least one or two of them on Monday or Tuesday of exam week.
