Lecture Notes

Lecture notes are organized by chapter and presented in two formats.

The HTML format presents the lectures as a slide show similar to the in-class presentation with some of the web links active. (Links or references to figures in the book are not active and the book should be referenced in reviewing these notes.) This format is not suitable for printing. The presentation is a little better with Internet Explorer than with Netscape, though both should work with versions of 4.0 or higher.
The PDF format is suitable for printing a copy of the lecture slides with space next to the slides for note taking. You need the Acrobat reader plug-in in order to read these files. You can get this plug-in free by clicking here.
